I’d be remiss if I didn’t report on attending Capos Calderwood’s/Alex Whitmore’s performance last Sun. at Gardens of Eternal Bliss. Some of the nicest and finest Americana (some country blues, some folk) and Texas-style picking and singing I’ve ever heard. Capos wife and daughter(my apologies on lack of their names) also joned in. Mrs. Calderwood had beautiful almost operatic voice, and Ms. Calderwood a classic country voice pure, rich, and beautiful. I so hope Ms. Calderwood continues to perform with her dad or on her own in SL. FYI-almost everyone there was an SL musician, so that gives you an idea on Capos musical skills.

oh, i’m so sad i missed it. i had the privilege of meeting alex at a fine establishment in decatur, ga called, eddie’s attic, where he made us all laugh!! this was the infamous night my g-string broke on the guitar. alex is an incredible performer and songwriter…and his album, barfarcist, is truly a great cd to have.
and he tours new zealand!!! whoop!!
