The Lights Are On

Not just for SL Notes in our first podcast but in SL UTurn Cafe, Cleon Goff’s(RL: CC Chapman’s) new club in SL, joining the Crayon offices CC and colleagues keep in world. Chris Taira did a fine interview with Cleon and will have many more coming with other SL cultutural notables. We’ll also have new features in future casts and fashion reports in our lifestyle section by Chantal Bachman-noted accessories designer and shopping authority. Thor Eldrich will be reporting on travel sites of interest-with photo essay by Thayan Rees to illustrate , so many things are happening and features will be updated.
I’m happy to say that today’s music features MoShang Zhao composed SL Notes show music songs by the very talented Melvin Took, Cylindrian Rutabaga, Ronnie Carr, ShadowJack: Shane Semler,and Uncle Seth. All SL and all podsafe.

Had an ineresting experience yesterday. SL musician Cylindrian Rutabaga of Jonathan Coulton/Creative Commons concert and sim destruction fame, introduced me to Ronnie Carr. Incidentally, Cyl is one of the nicest people I’ve met in SL and has been extremely helpful to me.
Getting back to Ronnie, so we’re chatting in IM and exchanging web links when all of a sudden i have a lightbulb go of in my head. I know who this is from RL and I actualy played one of his songs in my RL podcast last year. I knew him from Evil Genius Chronicles as Ronnie Marler which he confirmed. Very nice guy, gifted musician and fellow-podcaster. We’ll get him on show soon. Look for interview with him and Chris Taira.
The AP-PP benchmark for all Time

Well Takamura Keiko gave an excellent performance at the Radio Akasha sponsored event. Keiko told me afterwards now all time will be measured AP/PP( before Kaia Ennui threw her Gingerdead panties on stage and after). I don’t really understand what this means but…
Make sure you ask Nocturnal Threads‘ Kaia about that-maybe she has some Gingerdead panties for sale too, hmmm? I do know the Gingerdead web comic is doing well.

Dann Numbers Shines at Plush City

Dann Numbers was just outstanding tonight at Dreamland’s Plush City event stage. He played from 7-8 tonight and will play again on Sat 11/18. DJ Chill opened for the RL Brooklyn-born: Dan Russo) an will do the same this Sat. If you need tp IM me or Raimond ACS, Anya ACS, or Nancy ACS. Event schedule change(Dann will be recheduled) Keiko Takamura will play-woot I even have a Keiko doll from Kaia Ennui. Kudos to Trinity Cole for putting me in touch.

A Podcast Morphs into SL Club

Cleon must be scratching his head thinking,” How did my RL podcast become my SL Club?” We’ll be providing schedule very soon for 1st SL Notes podcast tieing in with Cleon’s launch event. Cleon will be streaming both inside club and to RL U-Turn Cafe podcast. Interesting mashup of mediums, realities, and technologies.

Wasup everybody-on behalf of myself and fellow co-hosts: Chris Taira and Janua Flint all I can say is wow. How exciting to be doing this. already have so much going on. We will be hooking up with Cleon Goff (CC Chapman in RL) of U-Turn Cafe, Accident Hash, Managing The Gray and now Crayon fame to bring some coverage to Virtual U-Turn Cafe SL opening on 11/25. It will feature live music from Toronto’s Uncle Seth and Madsumo from CC Chapman’s studio. We will feature interviews with Cleon and both musicians. Should be a great event.
On other news: many SL musician friends, club owners, radio station owners, designers and other friends all very excited and supportive of this podcast. So keep your real eyes peeled for the frequent updates.
