This episode features interview and music of Moshang Zhao/Jean Marais: a South African born “Sound Jeweler” living and perfecting his art in Taiwan. Jean performs chill out adding Chinese musical elements to the mix. We talk about his participation in SL live music, some new projects including the Asian Variations, composing song for Missing Pages, and musician friends Anji Riel/Anji Bee, Slim Warrior/Leo Woolf and Doubledown Tandino/Brad Reason.

Wow, very happy with the quality of the Missing Pages event last week. Thanks again to Jerome Olivier/Blasted Bart, Jean Marais/Moshang Zhao, CC Chapman/Cleon Goff(and Crayon), Jim Stanger/Thor Eldrich, Feri Beckenbauer and all who attended. Jerome mentioned wanting to form an acting workshop in SL-that sounds like a great idea. Will keep you updated. Moshang is offering song he composed for Missing Pages event for free here. Of course you can also download Missing Pages movie for free as well. Jim Stanger will be arranging another event at more European friendly time (aprox 1PM SLT) soon. Will update.

Missing Pages:Stunningly Original Photo-Animated Sci-Fi Thriller is an award winning film that utilizes very special motion techniques involving still photographs. Director Jerome Olivier will appear at the premiere to host a Q&A session after showing of th 24 minute film. Moshang Zhao will perform original Music inspired by the film. Sets from the movie will be featured(thanks Jim Stanger) and so will special avis created by Feri Beckenbauer. Crayon will be providing event space(thanks CC Chapman and Crayon). Even though it hasn’t been a full year yet, JC Hutchins 7th Son book promo in Second Life was kind of the beginning of a wild and fun journey into SL.

Komuso pointed me to brouhaha over at Slimmie’s blog here regarding SLCC. What SLCC again? First there was issue on “rules and regulations” appearing after the fact which had many people caught between a rock and a hard place-having already paid registration, bought airline tickets,etc. Now there is a big to do over an additional questionable agreement needing to be signed. Wow what happened to going to hang out and meet virtual friends in person and just plain fun? Yeesh. Everyone is just Phreaking out here.

Yeah, gotta love that title. In my case love most anything from Brian Eno. This SL representation of his newest work here. Very nicely orchestrated by the Blue Air TV people. The exhibit is spread over 4 different sim locations. Angrybeth Shortbread (Annabeth Robinson in RL) and Cyrus Huffhines(Bryan Campen in RL) have both done excellent work here to evoke the feel of Eno’s visual and shifting aural piece.
